Welcome to my new blog, Fade In, Music Up. This blog is dedicated to music in film, including both scores and soundtracks. I have been a dedicated film nut for many years, and music in the movies especially sticks in my head. I love it when a song comes on the radio that immediately evokes a great scene in a film. That movie and that music will always be linked together in my head. I also love when a scene in a movie is subtly, or not so subtly, enhanced by the presence of a great film score.
I hope that all of you out there will read and comment and discuss and think about music in the movies! Now, on to posting!
